Elé Karela was founded in 2008 by designer Eleftheria Karela, born in Greece and raised professionally in London, fusing the rich timeless heritage of Greece with the innovative spirit of contemporary design. Inspired by the myths and legends of her homeland, her travels around the world, Art Deco influences and her studies in jewelry design at Central St. Martins in London, Karela has developed an extraordinary eye for detail. She creates each piece by hand using gold and precious stones, and her creations are characterized by intricate geometric shapes and labyrinthine patterns.
