Ileana Makri was founded in 1998 in Greece by designer Ileana Makri herself. Inspired by the rich diversity of cultures and landscapes around the world, Ileana’s creations are a testament to her studies at the Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica and her lifelong fascination with gemstones. Embracing and celebrating different cultures during her travels, she meticulously smiles upon gemstones and precious materials from around the world, creating each piece with a blend of traditional craftsmanship and innovative design. A significant amount of handwork is used to craft each piece, ensuring a detailed and meticulous look that reflects the unique methods and craftsmanship of the different regions.
